The Australian distributor Five Star Games has announced that RiME will not be released on May 26 on Nintendo Switch, as previously announced. The version of the game for the new Nintendo console is now waiting for the release at Q3 2017 worldwide.

News not really positive for those waiting for the title of Rime on Nintendo Switch: the game, expected to be released on May 26 on other platforms and in subsequent weeks on the new Nintendo console, instead for the latter the title will come no earlier than the third quarter of 2017.

To let people know about this news it was Five Star Games, distributor of the game for Australia, which reported that third quarter will be the new launch window on a world scale.

The launch of Rime on Nintendo Switch is now expected between July and September, the new release date has not been announced yet.

The reasons for this delay were not specified by Tequila Works and publisher Gray Box, specifically, however, how the delay is related only to the version for Switch, while the edition of PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be available from May 26, as initially expected.

At this point, we are waiting to find out precisely the debut date of the game, albeit a very late launch (a higher price than other platforms, as we have seen) which might end up penalizing the store for this title.
