Rez Infinite, the new version of the classic title of Dreamcast, will be playable at 4K resolution and will run at 60 frames per second on PlayStation 4 Pro, as revealed by developers of Enhance Games. As they reported in different media, these improvements will only be available in the original areas of the game, but not in the new content.

Enhance Games has revealed that Rez Infinite, the upcoming remake of the classic Dreamcast Rez, will be playable in 4K resolution and will run at 60 frames per second on the PlayStation 4 Pro.

According to Enhance Games, the new levels of Rez Infinite, as Area X, will also benefit from the power of PlayStation 4 Pro, but the development team did not mention in what way.

For the time being, those who have tried or watched Rez Infinite, game that was present at Tokyo Game Show 2016, agreed that the game is totally spectacular, both in their original content and in its new version for PlayStation VR.

Rez Infinite will be released on October 13, the same day when the PlayStation VR will be debuting in stores. The virtual reality headset will not be required to enjoy this installment, as will still be playable in its 2D version without any problems.

Regarding the 4K resolution of PlayStation 4 Pro, the company did not say whether it is a native resolution or scaling.
