Although it is something that had been already announced previously, Respawn Entertainment wanted to reconfirm that Titanfall 2 will not have Season Pass or downloadable content of payment of any kind.

The developer Respawn Entertainment has officially announced that Titanfall 2, a title that will hit the market in a few hours, will not have a Season Pass. A move rather unexpected considering the current state of the market, but that surely will be appreciated by many players.

We remind you that some time ago Respawn has announced that the DLC related to arms and maps will be free, so today’s announcement linked to the Season Pass is a logical consequence of this decision.

That is, all maps and modes for the multiplayer arriving after launch will be implemented completely free, so you only have to pay only once to access all content, whether initial or after its release.

“There will be no Season Pass required… This means no splitting up the community and it all starts with the legendary Angel City map, remastered from the original Titanfall,” can be read in a statement of the studio.

” This means once you’ve purchased Titanfall 2, your investment includes a full single player campaign, the full multiplayer maps and modes, and long-term support with no hidden costs. You can pre-order the game to play 3 days early, but it will never cost you extra.”

Titanfall 2 will be available tomorrow on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. This second part will feature six new titans, deeper into the skills of the pilots, more customization options and a new progression system.
