Capcom has sustained part of the promotion of Resident Evil 7 in the famous finger mannequin, so much so that the curious item is one of the objects of the Collector’s Edition of the game, which will arrive on 24 January to Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
The finger – somewhat scorched – serves as a USB pendrive, and is designed according to the motives of the new horror game. Although it has been given to the players of the game ambassador program in Japan, it will be exclusive for the most complete edition of Resident Evil 7.
As we discussed a few weeks ago, this edition brings with it a replica of the mansion of the Baker as the main claim, as well as other extras in the form of art book or a pack of downloadable content.
Being more specific, this edition includes the following:

• Replica of the mansion of the Baker
• Pen-drive of 16GB shaped like a finger cut with red specks imitating blood
• Art Book of the 20 anniversary of Resident Evil
• Set of 5 lithographs
• Alternative Cover
• Survival Pack: Action Set DLC:
o immediate access to Madhouse mode
o consumable items: herbs and medicines first aid
o a mysterious lucky coin
Resident Evil 7 follows the pattern of other horror titles and adopts the first-person perspective to give a new twist on the usual formula of the series, although there will still be fighting, puzzle solving and other classic elements of Resident Evil, and the history will connect with the previous games.
Resident Evil 7 Biohazard will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on January 24. It will be compatible with PlayStation VR, the virtual reality headset of PS4. At the moment the price of this edition has not been materialized.
