Capcom continues celebrating the 20th anniversary of Resident Evil and in the month of Halloween it will be bringing a taste of the real world of the survival horror. I am talking about Resident Evil Escape Experience, a event that Capcom and iam8bit are going to held in Los Angeles, California.
I will explain what this experience is: it is a game where you can go with a team of up to 6 people to try to escape a terrifying room full of puzzles and challenges. Organizers say there attendees will find several references to old releases of the franchise and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
Bad news for those who can not go to Resident Evil Escape Experience is that the organizers will not allow to take photos or videos of the room. This means we will not know the challenges and horrors that await many of them.
As part of the celebration, iam8bit presents a gallery with art based on Resident Evil. In addition, several of this limited art prints will be on sale.
The event will only be available from October 21 to November 6 and to access you will have to pay $35 USD. If you live in America or you will be there on those dates, and are interested in the event, I recommend that you click here for more details.
In related information, Capcom announced that the remakes of Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 are a success, so it would not surprise them to launch more remasters. Also, last week they released a new preview of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
The next installment of the franchise, Resident Evil 7, will arrive in January to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
If there was a similar event of Resident Evil in your country, would you attend it? What do you think of these events? Share us your opinion in the comment section below.
