Resident Evil 2 Remake was a success at E3 2018 and was crowned as the best game on the show. Recently, GameReactor, had the opportunity to talk with developers Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and Tsuyoshi Kanda at the event to learn more about the title.

Speaking in an interview with GameReactor, one of the developers Tsuyoshi Kanda said that “In addition to reimagined stages, environments of the iconic RPD, there are layout changes and also new areas to explore, so I’ll leave the details for everyone to discoverer by themselves.”

“Whilst we’re trying to keep the respect for the original storyline like we said, we do want to keep things fresh and surprising as well, so some areas will be familiar to you, some will be familiar but may seem a little bit different, and some will be brand new, so you can look forward to checking those out in the full game,” Kanda stated further.

Recently, Capcom has also confirmed that the ability of Resident Evil 2 Remake will automatically adapt to the player’s skills, allowing everyone to enjoy the best possible experience based on their skills.

Resident Evil 2 Remake is expected for January 25, 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One: the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X will run at 60fps while there are currently no plans to bring the game on Nintendo Switch.
