Resident Evil 2 Remake Could Get DLC, Director & Producer In Talks with Capcom

Capcom has not yet decided whether Resident Evil 2 remake will have DLC content or not. The long awaited Capcom game celebrating one of PSone’s greatest classics with a new look and immense improvements is almost on the way to stores, but the team has yet to decide what to do with it.

In a recent interview with SaudiGamer, Kazunori Kadoi, director of the game, and Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, producer of the title, were asked about the possibility of DLCs in Resident Evil 2 remake and they left open many clues for the fans.

Kadoi and Hirabayashi have affirmed in this regard by saying the following: “The discussions on the DLC are still underway within Capcom, we are talking about it but we have not made any decision about it, but we invite you to follow our social channels for details on if and when the time will be.”

It is not clear if the reference can be to any aesthetic DLC (costumes or maybe skin for weapons) instead of real expansions with additional content. It was not a confirmation, but they did not rule out that possibility either.

Resident Evil 2 remake will release on January 25 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Would you like to have some kind of DLC specific to Resident Evil 2 remake? Tell us in the comments below.
