Report: PS4 price cut scheduled during the week of E3 2017

According to a report published by USA Today, Sony may temporarily cut the price of some bundle and selected models of PlayStation 4 in the week of E3 2017, from June 9 to 17. At present, the company has not confirmed anything about it, so we invite you to take this report as mere speculation.

According to a report, Sony could take advantage of the hype for E3 announcements and a price cut to convince you to buy PS4. According to what is reported by USA Today, in fact, the company plans to temporarily cut the price of the console between 9 and 17 June.

This price cut will involve some PS4 models that will be available at the $250 price (with the magical video game change 1:1 it would be transformed into 250€) rather than $300.

USA Today also talked about a possible temporary price cuts for accessories, it is unclear whether the price cut can relate in some way to PlayStation VR and PlayStation 4 Pro and if the cut will be limited to the US and will also extend to Europe.

In the same week, Sony should also launch the new Gold color for PlayStation 4 Slim, emerged in the past few hours with a flyer of the Target chain.

And, as we said at the beginning, maybe Sony’s plan is to entice not only with reduced price but also with the hype that it can generate with its conference to be held on 13 June.
