Report: Nintendo Switch has a touchscreen and its resolution is 720p

A report published by Eurogamer affirms that the screen of Nintendo Switch will measure 6.2 inches (approximately 16 cm) and, in addition to tactile sensors, its maximum resolution will be 720p.
According to the specialized site, the console will use 10-point multitouch technology, which means that it will recognize multiple finger gestures, like most current phones.
Eurogamer believes that Nintendo did not want to show these features during the unveiling of Switch for 2 reasons. The first was to make it clear that Switch is a home system, and the second was to prevent people to associate it with the new console of Wii U and 3DS.
Assuming this information is correct, still the question remains on how to operate the tactile characteristics when the console is connected to your TV. In the opinion of Eurogamer, the answer lies in the infrared sensor of Joy-Con straight, which could serve to point to the TV similarly to the Wii Remote.
Probably the Eurogamer report is true, remember that this site was one of the first sources to point out that Nintendo Switch console would be a hybrid. However, for the moment we can not take it for granted.
The truth is that Nintendo is preparing an event, where it will share new information about Switch, which will be held in January 2017.
