If you are a fan of Darksiders 3, then you might be interested to know something about its developer’s next project. During the E3 2019 PC Gaming Show, Gunfire Games introduced Remnant: From the Ashes, a third person shooting game where you will face monsters that seem to come out of a nightmare.
According to the developer, Remnant: From the Ashes is a cooperative action shooter that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. And although this is not a precisely innovative premise, its dynamic generation system is. The developers took the stage and explained that, with this system, the title has a certain degree of procedural generation: the assets were designed by hand and can be combined and behave in different ways. For example, while one person may face a tree and make friends with a wolf, another may fight against the wolf, so each player’s experience may vary drastically.
Check out the trailer that was revealed at the event below:
Remnant: From the Ashes has 4 themed worlds with environments, characters and particular monsters. To defeat the fearsome bosses you will have to obtain loot, improve your equipment and form a team with other players. Gunfire Games mentioned that you must be ready to die in the game, but it’s all part of the experience.
The game will be released on August 20 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. However, if you pre-order the game, you can start playing 4 days before.
