505 Games and Remedy Entertainment have signed a partnership for the publication of the new project of the Finnish studio. The game (known by the code name of Project 7) will be published by 505 Games around the world in retail and digital format on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
505 Games has signed a publishing agreement valid for the territories around the world for publishing on PC, Xbox One and for the first time PlayStation 4, Remedy Entertainment’s next game which is not yet announced.
The publisher will contribute to the development with 7.75 million of euros and will support marketing expenses, publishing and distribution of the game.
The new project of Remedy is called a “Cinematic Third-Person Action Game” set in a new fictional universe, the game will be realized with the Northlight Engine, proprietary engine of the studio, already used for Quantum Break.
The game will offer an intriguing story and a gameplay structure that will ensure long-term experience. It will also have the deeper mechanics you’ve ever seen in a developer title.
Remedy Entertainment, based in Espoo, Finland in 1995, is the developer of some of the most famous games in the international markets over the last twenty years like Max Payne, Alan Wake and Quantum Break.
