Recently, Reggie was questioned around the memes that fans made thanks to his charisma and selected his favorite.
If there is something we will remember about Reggie Fils-Aimé, it is his charisma, his carelessness and his passion as the top manager of Nintendo in America, which gave rise to many memes that became symbols of the industry in his recent era. In that sense, during an interview with IGN Australia, the former president of Nintendo of America spoke about the memes that accompanied his period at the head of the division and revealed which is his favorite:
“There’s a meme compilation on YouTube that I got a kick out of seeing; all my funny and epic moments in one place! If I’m pressed to pick just one favorite meme, it would have to be when we launched the Wii Fit, and I was quoted as saying, ‘My body is ready!’”
Surely you know or have you ever seen any meme or publication that referred to the phrase “My body is ready,” well, it took place during E3 2007, when Reggie Fils-Aimé appeared on the stage of the biggest videogame event for showing the new Wii proposal to the public. From there, the manager of Nintendo was associated on many occasions with the phrase and today we know that it was to his total pleasure.
