GameStop: Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Going To Be A Top Game of The Year

It is no secret that Red Dead Redemption 2 is destined to get good numbers in the market, it has convinced the publisher Take-Two and also the major retailers, including GameStop Corporation. Specifically, Eric Bright (VP of the Merchandising division) said he was convinced that RDR2 will be the best-selling game of 2018.
Bright states that “Red Dead is going to be a top game of the year, hands down. We had an exclusive Red Dead Collector’s Edition that we put up for pre-order and it sold out in a day and a half. I mean, absolutely phenomenal interest in that game. It’s Rockstar. Rockstar makes great games.”
The CEO of Take-Two has recently said to expect considerable success from Red Dead Redemption 2 even if the title is unlikely to generate the same numbers of GTA V, becoming the best-selling video game of all time with over 90 million copies distributed since 2013 to date.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on October 26, 2018, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, recently the PC version has appeared in a Résumé but Rockstar and Take-Two have not commented on the incident. Indeed, in the LinkedIn profile of a former programmer at Rockstar Leeds, Red Dead Redemption 2 makes its appearance: the mysterious employee worked for the company from June 2009 to November 2016 contributing to the development of Beaterator, LA Noire, Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2, the latter indicated on release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
It could be a simple mistake or maybe a poorly updated curriculum. The employee left the company in November 2016, shortly after the announcement of the existence of the game, revealed for the first time in October of the same year. Could it be possible at that time Rockstar was thinking about a PC version, then canceled? Hard to say, at the moment in any case the RDR sequel was confirmed only for the current generation consoles.
