Rockstar Games has officially announced Red Dead Redemption 2. The game comes in the autumn of 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There is no mention of a PC version. PC users, once again are left out, although there remains some possibility that the same will happen like Grand Theft Auto V and the port for computer comes later. The first trailer for Red Dead Redemption will be published on 20 October, as mentioned in the image above.

Rockstar describes the game as “an epic story set in the harsh America. The vast and atmospheric world forms the basis for a whole new online multiplayer experience.”

The company has shown a first illustration of the game that follows the style of the disclosed image posted yesterday, and confirmed on the official website that this title will have an online mode, we imagine similar to that seen in GTA Online, defined as “a completely new experience.”

So far they have not announced official gaming platforms, although logos and website of PS4 and Xbox One still appears. This does not necessarily rule out a PC version.
