Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Technical Specs Revealed In Companion App, Confirms DirectX 12
Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the great games of last year; however months have passed since its release, but it is not possible to stop talking about it: in part, because its multiplayer component, Red Dead Online, continues to expand, partly because we are still all waiting for the PC version, often subject to rumor and speculation. Now, a new leak appears that leads us to think again that the title is about to arrive on the PC.
Through the pages of a GTAforums, a user has shared a set of information that would be stolen from the code lines of the Companion App of Rockstar. In this, in fact, there would be a series of references to graphics settings, audio, controls and much more. Through these, we can discover some interesting details.
For example, Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC should support the latest version of Microsoft’s DirectX, DX12. There is also talk of a predefined “Ultra” graphics setting, which was not present in GTA 5.
Obviously, these are only rumors and should not be considered as official information. It seems quite obvious that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be ported for PC, given the enormous success of the game on the console version and the good results reported so far by Red Dead Online, but until we have no official confirmation from Rockstar Games we can’t be so sure about it.
