Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Release Confirmed in Rockstar Social Club

Red Dead Redemption 2 was released for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26, 2018, and from the first moment (even before the launch) there were rumors about a possible PC version. After all, Rockstar followed a similar strategy with its previous big hit, GTA V: first they released a version for PS3 and Xbox 360, and later the version for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

In short, everyone assumes that the game for PC will be a reality sooner or later. And if we look at what has just been discovered, it seems that it will be rather early.

The Twitter user @JakoMako5 has discovered that in the source code of the Rockstar Social Club page there is a reference to a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, he even provides the instructions for us to find it ourselves with a simple search:

In fact, the word “RDR2_PC_Accomplishments” appeared in the source code of the social network of the creators of Grand Theft Auto, a sign that would seem to suggest that the structure of the application is ready for the debut of the game on PC.

The news must obviously be taken with a pinch of salt, but it is not to be excluded that, by popular demand, soon the blockbuster software house will move to land its masterpiece on PC.
