Take-Two: Red Dead Redemption 2 Will Not Be Delayed Again

Although Red Dead Redemption 2 has suffered numerous delays throughout its more than 8 years of development, there will be no more changes on its departure date. Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two, has confirmed it on CNBC.
Interviewed by CNBC, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed and reiterated that Red Dead Redemption 2 will not suffer further delays and the game will be released on October 26, 2018, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as announced last February.
“When I said hand on heart, it’s over 1,000 people at Rockstar Games with their hands on their hearts”, these are the words of Zelnick, who also said that he was extremely confident about the commercial success of Red Dead Redemption 2, the top tier of the fiscal year of Take-Two, which will end on March 31st.
The last trailer of Red Dead Redemption 2 was received very positively by the public and critics, a reason for great satisfaction for a project that involved all the divisions of Rockstar Games for eight years, the processing of the game started in 2010, shortly after the launch of Red Dead Redemption on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
So Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26th on PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One and Xbox One X, Rockstar has confirmed the existence of “various special editions”, but more details will arrive during the month of June.
