Red Dead Redemption 2 File Size Is 50 GB, Additional 3 GB for Day One Patch?

After leaking the trophy list of Red Dead Redemption 2 in advance, the PSN Profiles user released new details about the file size of the game, stating that the installation file of the PS4 version will occupy 50 GB, plus an additional 3 GB for the day one patch.
The author of the leak said he was not a member of the press, saying he was “not entirely under NDA.” It is still unclear how the user came into possession of a retail copy of the game so far in advance, but we know that the user had managed to successfully anticipate the trophy list included in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
According to the words of the user, the installation file of the PlayStation 4 version of Red Dead Redemption 2 weighs 50 GB, to which must be added the 3 GB of the day one patch. Since there are still 14 days left until October 26th, when the new Rockstar title will debut on PS4 and Xbox One, there is the possibility that the day one patch will add another update to download before launching the game.
The news would be in tune with the 105 GB required by the installation of Red Dead Redemption 2, as reported in the back of the package of a special bundle for PlayStation 4 Pro dedicated to the Rockstar title. In fact, remember that the installation requires twice the free space compared to the actual size of the game (in this case 50 GB plus 3 GB of the day one patch).
Even if the user has revealed correct information in the past, we still invite you to take the news with a pinch of salt and wait for further official details.
