Red Dead Redemption 2 Features More Than 50 Unique Weapons
We already know that Red Dead Redemption 2 will take us to an interesting open world inhabited by humans and various types of animals, but how can we defend ourselves against its dangers? According to Rockstar, we will do it with more than 50 weapons.
In the official announcement, Rockstar indicated that it wants the “detail, depth and choice” to define every aspect of Red Dead Redemption 2, including weapons. This is why you will have the opportunity to choose between an arsenal of more than 50 weapons. For example, you can use different types of revolvers, pistols, rifles, and shotguns. As you imagine, each weapon will have unique characteristics, so there will be some that will be more effective than others in some situations.
“The high fire rate of a Double-Action Revolver lends itself well to shooting on the move from horseback. If you’re carrying something in one hand, like a lantern or small animal, consider using a Sawed-Off Shotgun which packs a much bigger punch at close range than other one-handed weapons,” Rockstar said. “The Varmint Rifle is perfect for hunting small game because it’s far less likely to damage the quality of the skin and meat than a firearm with a bigger shell size.”
Another interesting detail is that you will find a wide variety of weapon customization options. Among them are visual changes or performance improvements. In this way, you can create a unique weapon that has functions that will effectively serve you in combat.
In other news, we already saw part of the content for Red Dead Redemption 2 that will come as a temporary exclusive to PlayStation 4. On the other hand, you will find it interesting to know that Rockstar allowed a fan with a terminal illness to play it before its release. Finally, you should know that Rockstar ensures that it will offer a more intimate experience.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will debut on October 26 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. What do you think about the weapons of Red Dead Redemption 2? Tell us in the comments below.
