Even though the video game industry often constantly refers to its success in economic terms that account for a healthy business, in the developers’ scene there are diverse stories that count triumphs and failures. One of them arises from the recent personnel cut in Hangar 13, a 2K studio, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive, and responsible for Mafia III.

Through a post on its official Twitter account, Ready at Dawn, known for its work on God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War: Ghost of Sparta, Okami’s version for Wii and The Order: 1886, showed solidarity with the people who lost their job at Hangar 13 and with an emotional message invited the creatives to join to apply for the available vacancies.

The job positions are focused on working for a third-person AAA game for consoles, which is a new IP, development of expansions for its title of VR Echo and the development of Deformers for its launch in China, a market where the games will arrive thanks to Tencent.

Undoubtedly, the publication of Ready at Dawn stands out not only for its support in the difficult times that the creatives of Hangar 13 who lost their jobs go through, but also ignites the hype for that new AAA title that is under development and from which no further information has been revealed.
