Red Dead Redemption 2 has certainly marked an indelible mark in the world of open world video games. The Rockstar title in fact represents the non plus ultra with regards to immersiveness, interaction with the game world and ability to merge great gameplay with an incredible narrative segment.

The latter is the protagonist of a recent rumor emerged, incidentally, on the pages of Reddit. The user named throwaway11113454 has created a topic in which he states, through “certain” sources (Rockstar Environment Artist) to be aware of some alleged information concerning the near future of the game. We have reported it below.

  • Between December 2020 and January 2021, Red Dead Redemption 1 Remake will be released. In addition to a series of improvements to the technical sector, the game would include new explorable areas and a series of mechanics borrowed directly from RDR2. The idea was born on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the game, but some problems in the production would have moved the release on the aforementioned dates.
  • A DLC with a narrative style should finally arrive in Red Dead Redemption 2 in the first quarter of 2020. According to the user Reddit, the heart of the experience will be linked to the Aliens, already protagonists of a curious easter egg.

Obviously, this is a rumor that is nothing but unconfirmed reports, so we are waiting for any confirmations and/or denials from Rockstar itself. Of course, a DLC for RDR2 would be welcomed with open arms by all the millions of fans around the world.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PS4 and Xbox One.
