Rage 2 is intended as a single-player game and some fans panicked when an Amazon publication reported that to enjoy the game of id Software and Avalanche it was necessary to subscribe to the paid services of PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold. However, this was a mistake, as indicated by the development team.

After a user questioned the development team of Rage 2 on Twitter for Amazon’s publication of subscriptions for the PS4 and Xbox One online platforms, the response indicated that it is an error and players will not have to meet a requirement of that nature to enjoy the new game.

According to the information provided by the official account of Rage 2 on the social network, they have requested that the product publication will be updated and remove all references to PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold as the game will not require the use of these platforms.

So, if the players were worried about the publication of Amazon around the game, it’s time to go calm yourself because there is no surprise in that area and they can enter their post-apocalyptic world as soon as they have the game in their hands, or on your hard drives.

Rage 2 will release on May 14 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
