As many expected, the mobile version of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS has also been a success. Despite the fact that PUBG Mobile has only been available for 2 months on mobile devices, it has already reached an important mark in terms of total downloads.

According to the details, PUBG Mobile has already been downloaded more than 50 million times on iOS and Android devices. Since its launch, the title of Tencent and Lightspeed & Quantum has positioned itself as one of the most popular in several countries.

The latest report from the Sensor Tower firm reports that PUBG Mobile has been the most downloaded game in the App Store during the last months. Tencent also dominates the income tables thanks to Honor of Kings.

Thanks to this, the Chinese conglomerate was the leader in global gains compared to the mobile gaming market. The case was somewhat different from Google Play, which has no presence in some important territories of China. However, Tencent is still one of the 3 most outstanding developers for Android.

Before the success of the game, Lightspeed & Quantum launched more content, such as Arcade mode with lobbies for 28 players, a training mode, optimized the game interface, controls and various general aspects of the games.

The players were interested in playing this mobile version with mouse and keyboard, so they started using emulators. PUBG Corp. modified the matchmaking system to preserve the gaming experience. However, Tencent recently launched an official emulator to play PUBG Mobile on PC.
