According to reports, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) for Xbox One is now free on the Microsoft Store, but only for a limited time. Once redeemed, the game will be yours forever and can be used without restrictions.

You can download PUBG from the Xbox Store or from the game page on the Microsoft Store, where we read the following statement: “Full Product Release of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS. Visit to learn more about Full Product Release (1.0). Customers who purchased the game during Xbox Game Preview [prior to midnight UTC September 4, 2018] will receive the Full Product Release (1.0) update at no additional charge as an in-game update. Xbox Live Gold required to play (sold separately).”

Microsoft has promised theme-based surprises for PUBG during the X018 in Mexico City to be held over the weekend (November 10th and 11th), moreover, a few days ago it has been rumored about a possible version of the game for PS4 coming in December.

In any case, we advise you to proceed with the download of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for Xbox One before it’s too late because the game is going to become paid again.
