After a three-month interval of the Xbox One, with whom Microsoft managed to secure the top of the US hardware charts, Sony hit back with the launch of the two new consoles of PlayStation 4 Slim and PlayStation 4 Pro.

For its part, Microsoft commented that hours of play on Xbox One were up 11% compared to February last year. While the number of unique multiplayer users saw a 35% increase worldwide. Also, Xbox marketing chief, Mike Nichols, commented that Halo Wars 2, For Honor and Grand Theft Auto IV (the latter backward compatible) were the games that helped increase the numbers of sales of Xbox One during February.
