PS4 System Software Update 7.00 Beta Invites Begin

0 125

Sony has announced the PS4 firmware 7.00, to which it invites users in advance again to the BETA test. Selected users will receive the invitations from today.

One of the most important “innovations” this time again involves the reorganization of the Party Chat, in which up to 16 players can participate in the future. This feature also finds its way onto any console with the PS4 Firmware 7.00. Also mentioned is the improvement of voice chat in general.

Furthermore, there is the talk of an improvement in the performance of updates, according to which the PS4 does not have to be restarted every time. This can be set later via the system menu.

As with the last BETA test, the voucher codes can be shared again with 20 other friends to test the new features together. As a participant of the BETA, however, some features such as joint parties and share play are restricted.

If problems occur during the BETA test, a rollback via the system menu is possible at any time. Feedback can be left as usual in the official BETA Forums at this address.
