There are two points to keep in mind to understand the power of the new console. On the one hand, the CPU, which is very similar to the original PS4 and might even be considered the same, but with an overclock. The power gained in this section is only 30%.

However, with regard to the GPU, PS4 Pro is twice as potent than its predecessor, with 4.2 Teraflops gross power. This is what allows the best graphics and better resolution, but, on paper, it is not enough to show 4K graphics natively.

We suspect that a very sophisticated scaling is used instead, which does not have to be much worse.

In the other sections, it is basically the same console: the same RAM and disk drive, an extra rear USB compared to other PS4 and a more powerful and efficient Wifi. It also has Bluetooth 4.0, which should help spend less battery on devices operating with this standard.
