PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro Firmware Update 6.51 Available Now
With a typically Japanese diligence and calmness, Sony programmers surprisingly publish a new firmware update 6.51 to the PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro system software. What will firmware 6.51 ever add, then?
“This system software update improves system performance,” reads the encyclopedic note of the patch that accompanies the new update which should already be available to everyone.
Regardless of the apparent absence of additional features introduced by firmware 6.51 with the exception of the proverbial (but always welcome) optimization intervention, the update is aimed at making the system more stable, at the beginning of the month the publication of another important update that added a function required by many fans was witnessed, namely Remote Playback from iOS devices.
The update of today’s PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro may have been necessary to solve some of the problems encountered by those who, in recent weeks, have tried to access Remote Play from their iPhone or iPad by downloading the relevant app from the Apple store and trying to connect their console to the chosen device.
Check out the main features of the previous 6.50 update below:
