After the reveal of the technical specifications held by Digital Foundry few days ago, the official website of Xbox Scorpio is now updated and provides images and hardware descriptions of the new console of Microsoft.
A few days ago, Microsoft launched the first information about its new Power Console of Project Scorpio. Now the company goes one step further and updates its website with appropriate cross-sections from inside the console.
Project Scorpio is the new hardware battleship from Microsoft. The power console is expected to hit the market later this year and beat Gamer hearts. Since this week there are also first specifications, which give a first good impression to Project Scorpio, but there was not much more to be seen so far. This now changes with some shots of the product from the inside of the power console.
The illustrations are accompanied by some captions that reveal potential and functionality of various components of the machine, including the Scorpio Engine, the centrifugal fan, the liquid cooling system, and the so-called Hovis Method.
The page also highlights other aspects of the console, such as the GPU of 6TeraFLOPS, the custom CPU to 2.3GHz, the 1TB hard drive, and much more.
Xbox Scorpio will again be presented by Microsoft in the upcoming E3 2017 in Los Angeles. According to NPD, the new console from Redmond could sell more than PlayStation 4 in the US during 2017.
