Ian Bell, producer of Project CARS 2, has recently been interviewed by the SpotTheOzzie podcast and on this occasion he made it clear how his studio is currently working on a racing game based on the Fast & Furious saga.

After talking about the development processes that led to the birth of Project CARS 2, Bell might have said something substantial about the company’s future plans. As a result, the team is working on a racing game dedicated to the famous Fast and Furious movie saga.

These are the words of Ian Bell: “Guess what the latest Need for Speed game is doing, and have a think about which Hollywood film they’re copying,” Bell said, referring to Need for Speed: Payback.

A fairly clear reference but, as long as it’s not enough, Bell picks up the dose “If you look at me, I’m a bald guy and I work out a bit. So that’s a clue.”

A reference to The Rock, the protagonist of the famous movie franchise that has in common with Bell the passion for the gym (former sportsman) and hair shaved to none.

At this point, we look forward to discover whether a Fast and Furious game signed by the authors of Project CARS 2 will really be announced soon, or if Bell felt only particularly spirited. The rumor, for the time being, has been very welcomed by enthusiasts, so there is no doubt that such a product would easily find its market niche.

We are waiting to learn more about the involvement of Slightly Mad Studios in a new Fast & Furious based video game project.
