Bethesda has announced that on Thursday, April 27 a free demo of Prey will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The demo allows you to climb aboard Talos I and to face the first hour of the adventure.
During today, Bethesda announced the arrival of a free demo for its upcoming title called Prey, with which you can try the first hour of play.
The demo will be available from 27 April on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (noting was mentioned about the PC, so we assume it is not planned for that platform), exactly one week before the official launch, set for next May 5.
The demo of Prey will put you in the shoes of Morgan Yu, chief scientist on board the Talos, who is engaged in scientific research that will change humanity forever. What began as a normal first day of work, soon will take a dark turn. You’ll find yourself alone on board the Talos, a magnificent interstellar research facility, now abandoned.
Lethal aliens have invaded the space station and are chasing the surviving members of the crew, including you. If these creatures were to reach Earth, life as we know would end. It is up to you now to unravel the mysteries of The Talos, fight the alien invasion and save mankind.
Prey, remember, is a reboot of the series, made after the cancellation of work on Prey 2, which should have kept the original story, in development at Human Head. This reboot is instead realized by Arkane Studios.
Available worldwide from Friday, May 5 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, Prey is a highly anticipated sci-fi action game from Arkane Studios, the creators of the series of Dishonored, including the 2012 Game of the Year and Dishonored 2.
