After an exclusivity agreement with Electronic Arts which lasted for 16 years, the Porsche brand is ready to land on other racing games: the German team will be featured in Gran Turismo Sport with the digital transposition of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
In a press release, Sony Interactive Entertainment announces that the Porsche 911 GT3 RS will be featured in Gran Turismo Sport. This is a remarkable addition to the video game after the exclusivity agreement between the brand car and EA ended in December.
In addition, Sony has extended the time for the beta registrations for the title. In the United States, the initial phase began last month; but more users are currently being recruited, with the test in Europe beginning on 15 April.
Already during the closed beta, which will start next Saturday, April 15, and to which you can subscribe by following this address, you can see the car of the German automaker in Scapes mode.
As you can see at the bottom, the news was confirmed in a tweet posted by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Yesterday, however, there were published many new screenshots of the game, where we can see several cars like the Ford Focus and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, as well as a preview of three new tracks (Sardinia Windmills, Blue Moon Bay and Dragontrail Seaside).
Recall that Gran Turismo Sport will be released in the course of 2017 exclusively on PS4.
