Pokkén Tournament DX launches September 22 on Nintendo Switch

During the Direct Event of June 6, Game Freak and Nintendo have officially announced Pokkén Tournament DX, reissue for Switch Of the pickpocket title released in arcade format and on Wii U in 2016.

Important announcement has been made today by Nintendo: Pokémon is arriving on Switch with Pokkén Tournament DX! We all knew that sooner or later it would happen, but finally today the dreams of millions of players around the world came true (or almost).

The new Pokémon title landed on the new hybrid console of the Big N with Pokkén Tournament DX. It is a fighting game starring the Pokémon, based apparently on Pokkén Tournament for Wii U.

Pokkén Tournament DX will be released on Nintendo Switch on September 22, 2017, this reissue will present a technical sector improved and a control system adapted to exploit the potential of Joy-Con and their unique characteristics, such as the HD Rumble.

Also confirmed is the support for local multiplayer (two players) and online. Regarding the roster, will be present all Pokemon of the Wii U version with the addition of exclusive monsters of the arcade version like Darkrai, Scizor, Croagunk, Empoleon and Decidueye.

Pokkén Tournament DX will be present at E3 2017 in playable format, while during the Nintendo fair a special tournament will be also held dedicated to the game.
