Pokemon Sword and Shield Preload Available on Japanese Switch eShop, File Size Confirmed

A few days before the launch of Pokemon Sword and Shield on Nintendo Switch the expectation is at its highest level and fans want to know everything that has to do with this new installment.

One of the details that must always be taken into account, at least in the current era, is the space that the titles will occupy in our consoles and in the case of the new Game Freak title there is already information about it.

A few moments ago, according to a report, it was revealed that the preload of Pokemon Sword and Shield has already begun in Japan and the first reports ensure that each title has a file size of 9.5 GB, an amount slightly lower than what was previously handled unofficially, in specific 10.3 GB.

The information comes directly from the Japanese eShop, so it is a fact that this will be the file size that the title will have in its European and American versions. That said, it is necessary that you take a look at the storage unit of your Switch, to verify that you have the necessary space to install one or both games.

Pokemon Sword and Shield will release on November 15 on Nintendo Switch.
