Rumor: Pokemon Switch Localization Will Start This Year

0 113

According to the Insider Pixelpar, it seems that Pokemon Switch is in the phase of European localization, with the completion of the first translations set between April and June. Is it an interesting indication on the release date of the game?

“Looks like the initial European translations for Pokemon Switch are planned to be completed between April – June. They will then undergo localization editing. Editors are being hired on a minimum 6 Month contract,” we read in the tweet of Pixelpar that we have reported at the bottom of the news.

If the rumor turns out to be true, the news would give further indications on the release date of Pokemon Switch, bolstering for the last months of 2018.

However, remember that in the recent documents of Nintendo of Japan reference was made to “2018 or later” as an indicative exit period, with the possibility that the title will end up actually arriving in 2019.

If we compare with Pokemon Sun and Moon, the translation work started at the beginning of January for a release at the end of the year.
