Pokemon GO has 800 million downloads
Yesterday night there was quite a lot of news about Pokemon. Thanks to this we know that Pokemon GO continues with a firm step as one of the most popular titles of the moment.
By February 2017, the Niantic game already had 650 million downloads worldwide. Subsequently, by June of the same year, the game exceeded the 750 million accumulated downloads.
During the event held yesterday, Tsunekazu Ishihara, head of The Pokemon Company, said that the mobile title achieved a new milestone, since it was downloaded 800 million times. The report comes from Takashi Mochizuki, a journalist with The Wall Street Journal.
It is estimated that the success of Pokemon GO will continue, as Niantic releases new updates and events on a regular basis. Currently, the company prepares the arrival of various creatures in its Alola form. In addition, players will have one more chance to capture Articuno.
On the other hand, yesterday we learned that Pokemon GO will have connectivity with Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee, the new installments of the franchise for Nintendo Switch. The arrival of these titles will undoubtedly give a new impetus to the mobile game.
In recent news, The Pokemon Company had good financial results and Pokemon GO certainly contributed to that. The title is available for iOS and Android devices.
