After announcing that it has distributed 86.1 million PS4 consoles worldwide, Sony Corporation has also announced the number of subscribers to the PlayStation Plus service, as of 30 September 2018.

PlayStation Plus subscribers are now 34.3 million, up from 33.9 million recorded at 30 June 2018: Sony is satisfied with these numbers and expects the subscribers to grow further with the start of the season of great multiplayer games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Battlefield V. Positive results therefore for one of the premium services most appreciated by the PlayStation community.

Continuing to talk about PlayStation Plus, tomorrow (Wednesday, October 31) Sony Interactive Entertainment should officially reveal the free games of the Instant Game Collection of November, so we are awaiting official communications on the matter.

Also, we will point out that software sales have also increased for the Japanese brand. The second quarter of the fiscal year has left us with a total of 75.1 million games sold, again higher than the 69.7 million games sold that were recorded during the past year. Sales, likewise, increase from 27% to 28% in the digital domain.
