PlayStation Will Show 7 New Titles Under Its China Hero Project, Including Lost Souls Aside
The ChinaJoy 2019, the Chinese event starring a PlayStation conference to be held on Thursday, August 1, will see the reveal of 7 New Games for PlayStation 4 belonging to the program, China Hero Project. We will, of course, follow the event and bring you all the most interesting news from China.
In the past, many Chinese IPs with a very high-quality level have emerged from ChinaJoy. Suffice to say that the action-game Lost Soul Aside, a game developed by Yang Bing (therefore by a single person), is one of the most interesting projects emerging from the China Hero Project.
With a conference lasting at least two hours, Sony will present several Chinese production titles coming directly from the PlayStation China Hero Project, an initiative that allows the company to find and help talented Chinese developers. Although there are no more details regarding the event, the company will unveil the official line-up to be presented at the ChinaJoy 2019.
Lost Soul Aside represents one of the most important games coming from the Chinese developers’ scene on PlayStation 4, confirmed again at the ChinaJoy 2018 event. The title of Yang Bing is one of the absolute protagonists of the China Hero Project, set by Sony Interactive Entertainment to promote various titles from Chinese developers on its console.
Lost Soul Aside has obviously grown a lot since it was a simple amateur project, started under the direct inspiration of Final Fantasy XV, to become a big title for PS4. Yang Bing was joined by a team of developers and collaborators and Sony itself as a project partner, so the game is taking on an important and also strategic consistency, in terms of PS4 penetration in China.
This March, #ChinaHeroProject announced 7 new titles under a tower which has over 1 thousand year history in Beijing. This August, latest progress will be revealed in PlayStation’s ChinaJoy online showcase. 17:30 1st August, 2 days to go. pic.twitter.com/piIxR4xnmh
