PlayStation 5 Pre-Orders Already Available in Europe for €50 ($55)

It seems that in Holland (and, generally, in Benelux), a retailer has decided to move in advance, opening pre-orders of PlayStation 5. This is reported by the Let’s Go Digital site, which had anticipated the design of the devkit of PS5 showing images of the patent, which tells us that the Game Mania portal has opened pre-orders for the next-generation console.

Considering how far from today the release is, the retailer offers (in-store only, not online), the possibility of booking PlayStation 5 in advance, for a small amount (we talk about €50) as a deposit for booking confirmation. Once done, the user will be informed of news and developments directly from the store, pending delivery at the end of 2020.

As paradoxical as it may sound, this is not the first retailer to do it: in recent days, even a Swedish retailer had opened pre-orders for PS5, proposing the console at the placeholder price of $1050. Considering that the amount is only executed at the time of shipment, it goes without saying that users who have booked the console have not been charged $1050, but only the actual price of PS5 will be discounted.

In recent days, we learned the official confirmation of the name of PS5, in addition to the fact that it will be released in the Christmas 2020 period. The console will have a renewed DualShock controller and will count on ray-tracing integrated into the GPU.
