After the gigantic 4.0 upgrade, which resulted in many new PlayStation 4, it is now time to have more stability. In fact Sony has released version 4.0.1 of its firmware, downloadable from PlayStation Network, for system that had bug and thus making them more robust system.

The weight of the update is relatively small, since we are talking of only 302.1 MB, that you can get it in a few minutes. If the download does not start automatically, you should go to the settings menu of the console and do a search for the latest software, at which time you will find it and then start the download.

It does not include major development and had not been previously announced. Some media speculated that it could correct errors or improve compatibility with PlayStation VR, which will be on sale officially on October 13.

The last major firmware update has been 4.00, which introduced changes to the interface for example creating folders, improvements in the Share features, new profile screen and HDR technology in compatible TVs. Moreover, it has changed the quick menu and also integrates a folder system that allows the organization of installed games which has been simplified.
