Sony Interactive Entertainment has released the firmware 4.07 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Slim and PlayStation 4 Pro. It is a minor update that does not include new features but merely fixes some bugs and minor issues, increasing the overall stability of the system.
Sony has announced that the 4.07 update is now available for download for its PlayStation 4 console. The update has the size of 312.3 MB and only deals with “improving the quality of the system performance”, without any further addition of relief. That is, exactly the same feature as in the previous version, getting the idea that Sony changed the “stability” by this new designation.
However, if you want access to the console’s online services, we remind you that you have to download and install the update as soon as possible.
As per tradition, the firmware update is required in order to continue to access the PlayStation Network and PlayStation Store will be reserved as soon as possible after updating your console, the firmware 4.07 is already available on PlayStation Store for download, and the file weighs 312 MB.
Recall that recently the company announced that it had sold over 50 million consoles around the world, as you can read in our previous news.
It should be noted that the last major update was released in September, with the release of version 4.0 for the system.
