PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds could also arrive on home game consoles

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is one of the phenomena of the moment on PC, gone out of the way, the game has managed to sell over two million copies in the Early Access through word of mouth, becoming one of the most popular titles on Steam and Twitch.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the title which recently landed in Early Access on Steam, reflects a bit of the H1Z1 formula: King of the Kill, and that could also arrive on consoles.
Speaking to microphones of Business Insider, the developer Brendan Greene has revealed how he and his team are planning to bring the game even on consoles, with particular attention paid to a porting for Xbox One.
“We have a team working already on looking to port it to at least the Xbox [One]. We’re looking at both consoles of course, but we have no time frame for both. We have no time frame yet exactly on Xbox [One] or PlayStation [4], but we are looking at it,” Greene said.
At the moment there is still nothing certain about the project but according to the author of the game it would work well on home platforms.
The PC version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds should exit the Early Access stage in the next five months, only then they will start to think of a possible conversion for Xbox One and PS4.
