The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, once again talked about backwards compatibility, saying that the catalog will grow in January with “pretty good” titles.
Through Twitter, a user asked Spencer if it was possible to know what will be the next games in backwards compatibility, as it did in the past with Blue Dragon. Unfortunately for some, the Xbox boss did not make any advance, but promised that the backward compatible titles of January “looks pretty good.”
In another tweet, Spencer commented on the attractive proposition that is the backward compatibility on Xbox One. “Backward compatibility was good as it brought a bunch of nostalgia back without all the games needing to be redone or rebought,” he added. “I love that [backwards compatibility] is bringing great games to people who didn’t get to play on 360.”
Earlier, Microsoft announced that the backward compatibility program, which was launched in November 2015, already has 300 games. Earlier this month, the titles of BioShock joined this catalog, followed by Bully, Catherine and Raskulls.
