After a while without knowing much about Scalebound, yesterday, on January 9, Microsoft announced that the game was canceled. “After careful deliberation, Microsoft Studios has come to the decision to end production for Scalebound,” was the message sent through the official Twitter account of Scalebound. Apparently, the development of the title went through a rough time. Moreover, Xbox boss mentioned that they will continue to work to improve the alignment of games.
Scalebound was revealed at the conference of Microsoft at E3 2014 as an exclusive to Xbox One. The last time we received information about this project was at E3 2016 event in which Microsoft said that Scalebound will come to Xbox One and Windows 10 as part of Play Anywhere program.
