Surprise! Although it seemed that its arrival would not be before E3 2017 as we had been promised, Phantom Dust HD, the relaunch in high definition of the cult classic for Xbox, will make its debut today, as announced by Microsoft. Best of all, it will be free.

Responsible for sharing this news was Aaron Greenberg, chief marketing officer of Xbox, who announced it on Twitter account. On the social network, the manager said that the game will be available on Windows 10 and Xbox One, in addition to being part of Xbox Play Anywhere, so you will enjoy features such as save games in the cloud.

Recently, Microsoft said it had not yet decided monetization the model of Phantom Dust, leaving the door open to follow a free-to-playmodel. Having said that, he confirmed that the relaunch will have DLC (free and paid), which seems to indicate that the game will allow you to purchase packs of cards.

It is important to note that this is Phantom Dust HD, a remastered version of the game that came to Xbox years ago, not the reboot that was in Microsoft’s plans. This means it is the game that many fell in love with in 2004, but with new features such as graphics in high resolution, widescreen support and changes to the progression system.

Will you give a chance to this relaunch of Phantom Dust Remaster? Tell us in the comments below.
