Persona 5 New Video Reveals September 15 Release Date

Atlus recently released a new trailer for Persona 5, the next installment in the series derived from Shin Megami Tensei. The RPG is expected on PS3 and PS4 for release this September in Japan.
Under development for several years in the Japanese studio Atlus, Persona 5 is the latest in the series derived from Shin Megami Tensei. After including two parts some years ago on PS2 and having attracted many players, the fifth installment is awaited for now.
The publisher has released a new trailer of the RPG which has the famous day/night cycle appropriate to manage following high school life and fighting in a paranormal universe. In sum, the title will feature once again a real time management between the strengthening of social ties and the progress of history.
The studio also announced that a collector’s edition called ” 20th Anniversary Edition ” priced at 13,000 yen will be available on day of release and that it will contain the following:
The Persona 5 Game
An artbook in B5 format
A musical box containing the best music of the series in 5 CD
A DLC containing Orpheus and Izanagi clothing
A DLC containing costumes and music from Persona 3
A DLC containing costumes and music from Persona 4
An exclusive PS4 theme
A custom carrying case
In addition, we learn that a lively episode of thirty minutes entitled “Persona 5 The Animation: The Day Breakers” will be released in September 2016 in Japan.
Atlus revealed that Persona 5 will be marketed on 15 September 2016 at Japan, both on PS3 and PS4. For now, no detail is given on the launch of the game in the West, especially as we have recently learned that the company NIS America has halted its partnership with Atlus for the distribution of its games in Europe.
