ATLUS revealed yesterday the first details of Persona 5 R, a title that was confirmed at the end of last year. Now we know that the game is called Persona 5: The Royal and will come to PlayStation 4.
After the release of Persona 5 the Animation: Stars and Ours, the new animated special of the franchise, and the first teaser trailer of Persona 5: The Royal was released. The video does not say much, but it shows a new female character.
The woman gives her opinion about the Phantom Thieves and apparently is not very happy with what Joker and company do. ATLUS did not disclose details about the game, but promised that on April 24 there will be more information about it.
The company will talk about Persona 5: The Royal in a special presentation at the Persona Super Live concert. Without further ado, we leave you below the teaser trailer of the game below:
“What do you think of the Phantom Thieves? I think helping people is a wonderful thing, but if I had to say, I don’t like them. I don’t think the Phantom Thieves’ methods will make the world a better place or help anyone. In the end, I feel like you can only solve that yourself,” says the new female character in the video.
ATLUS confirmed that the new game is an RPG, so it will surely retain the mechanics of the original title. The community has thought about the possibility of seeing the game on other platforms, but nothing was mentioned about it.
