We are a few days from the release of Payday 2 on Nintendo Switch and to turn on the hype, Overkill presented a new video where some details of the game are revealed in its version for the Nintendo console.
Today Overkill, the development studio of Payday 2 released a new video starring the game’s producer, Almir Listo, who gives us an advance of what we can expect in the version of Switch that will debut on February 27.
The creative revealed that the assault shooter will have support in its menu section for the touch screen of the console and also for the HD Rumble vibration system. In terms of content, Payday 2 for Switch will offer:
1. 50 theft missions
2. 190 weapons
3. 17 characters
4. 280 types of masks
Now, in a matter of resolution, Listo announced that Payday 2 on Switch will run at 1080p in TV mode and 720p in portable mode. In both cases, the frame rate per second will be 30 fps.
Finally, the creative took the opportunity to give a brief introduction of the new character that will arrive in the game and that will debut first on the version of Switch: Joy. Joy is a Japanese criminal who lives in the United States and whose nightlife is dedicated to hacker activities, so her weapons and equipment will be related to technological tools.
Payday 2 will release on Nintendo Switch on February 27.
