Update: Jason Schreier of Kotaku has confirmed that Overwatch for Nintendo Switch will release next month. An announcement will be made today in the Nintendo Direct.

Original: There have been some rumors on Overwatch launching on Nintendo Switch circulating on the web for some time now, and today a new leak has come into the matter, suggesting that the game will release in October for the hybrid console.

According to a leaked internal retail listing, its been suggested that Overwatch will supposedly release on Nintendo Switch on October 18th this year. Since there is no official confirmation about a port of the game for Nintendo Switch from the publishers itself, so we will have to take this report with a huge pinch of salt.

As you might have heard, the Switch port of the game started making some noise with the announcement of the Overwatch Switch case via Amazon, that got removed.

Blizzard’s Jeffrey Kaplan also stated recently during a Reddit AMA that “Getting OW on the Switch is very challenging for us. But we’re always open-minded about exploring possible platforms.”

Remember that Overwatch is available on PS4, PC and Xbox One worldwide. We will keep you informed about this rumored port of the title for Nintendo Switch as soon as we get more information on it.
