One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition confirmed to release in the West
Bandai Namco has made official the release of One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition in the West with the name One Piece Unlimited World – Red Deluxe Edition. It will arrive on PlayStation 4 and PC on August 25, and Nintendo Switch in September.
Last week we announced that Bandai Namco will release One Piece: Ultimate World Red Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch, PC and PS4. Today, the company has confirmed that the title will also release in the West and has done so coinciding with the presentation of its first official trailer. It will be on August 25th when One Piece: Ultimate World Red Deluxe Edition goes on sale for PS4 and PC in the West, the Switch version will arrive in September.
These versions will include graphical enhancements, with support for 4K resolution on PC and PS4 Pro, and 1080p on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. They all point to 60 frames per second.
All game modes on console will be available in two-player cooperative, and includes the downloadable content released in the original versions.
“Rediscover the original adventure of Luffy and his crew of pirates, where they meet and befriend a fun but mysterious raccoon called Duck, which has a dark power that allows you to create anything drawn on a leaf,” summarizes Bandai Namco.
“In the spirit of helping his new friend, Duck leads the crew to the Forgotten Island, where an evil pirate named “The Red Earl” is kidnapped. Luffy must then fight to recover his crew from the clutches of his enemy, and find out exactly what iniquities his plan.”
Just recently, the first trailer of One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition was released.
